
Nogas Island
"Antique's most visible landmark"
Nogas is a day-time tourist spot directly facing Siraan Hot Spring. The only permanent man-made structure treat is a lighthouse facility maintained by the Philippine Coast Guard. A cleared pathway crossing the calachuchi plantation leads visitors directly to the lighthouse.Has a spiral stairway to the top, where a tourist gets a breath-taking view of the sorroundings white sand and coral lined beaches. the interior of the island beneath the lighthouse is abundant with mangrove tress. The eastern side of the island is somewhat rocky because of the soft corals dot the shoreline. But the other side beckons swimmers to hit its crystal clear water. some 32 species of birds inhabit the island including rare ones.the "tabon" Megapodius a flightless birds that is used tpo lay eggs on the ground, is on the verge of insextinction.

Nogas is a 24-hectare (59-acre) government naval reservation island inAntique Province, Philippines. It is 4.8 kilometres (3 mi) from the shoreline ofAnini-y town proper and can be accessed by sailboat or motorboat within 20 minutes.

When arriving in Anini-y, head to Siraan Hot Spring Resort. It is where you pay for the environmental fee of 60php per person. Just go inside and inquire. It is also where you make boat arrangements to and from the island. 500php for round trip which you are going to pay after they fetch you from the island. Just take note of boat's name and arrange time with the boat operator on the time you want to be fetched from the island. There is also a little restaurant inside Siraan where you can eat before heading off to the island.
